Family Weekend 2026

Come spend an exciting weekend at the University of Houston with your Cougar student! Family Weekend is a special opportunity for families and supporters to experience campus life, connect with the UH community, and create lasting memories together.

Your Family Weekend registration includes access to a variety of signature UH Family Weekend events where entertainment, food, beverages, and community experiences will be provided, including:

• Educational Sessions
• Department Meet & Greets
• Family Weekend Dinner – Friday Evening
• Family Weekend Movie Night – Friday Night
• Family Weekend Football Tailgate Experience – Saturday (approximately 2.5 hours prior to kickoff)
• Additional family-centered programming and activities throughout the weekend

Please note:
• Registration is required for both guests and UH students attending Family Weekend events.
• Football game tickets are not included with Family Weekend registration. However, registered attendees will receive access to purchase discounted football tickets within designated Family Weekend seating sections.
• UH Athletics typically releases football ticket purchasing information during the summer. Once available, all registered guests will receive the link via email and it will also be shared on the Family Weekend webpage.
• UH students receive free admission to football games in the student section. Families wishing to sit together should plan to purchase a ticket for their student within the Family Weekend seating section.
• Unfortunately, refunds cannot be issued once registration is completed.
