Family Weekend is one of the University of Houston's most cherished traditions—a time to welcome the families, friends, mentors, chosen family, and supporters who help our Cougars thrive.

Whether you're returning to campus for the first time or continuing a Family Weekend tradition, we invite you to experience the energy, spirit, and community that make the University of Houston feel like home. Throughout the weekend, you'll create lasting memories with your Cougar while connecting with fellow families and supporters from across the Cougar community.

Your Family Weekend Registration Includes

Registration provides access to a variety of signature Family Weekend experiences, including:

• Coogs House Kickoff Rally
• Educational Sessions & Campus Conversations
• Department Meet & Greets
• An Evening Dinner of Family, Jazz & Cougar Pride
• Lights, Camera, Cougars! Toy Story 5 Movie Experience hosted by RHA
• Family Weekend Football Tailgate Experience
• Additional family-centered programs and activities throughout the weekend

Plus, every family registration comes with an official Family Weekend Stadium bag and t-shirt(s)! 

Important Registration Information

Please review the following information before registering:

• Registration is required for all Family Weekend participants, including UH students attending Family Weekend events.
• Football game tickets are not included with Family Weekend registration.
• Registered attendees will receive access to purchase discounted football tickets within the designated Family Weekend seating section.
• UH Athletics typically releases football ticket information during the summer. Once available, purchasing details will be emailed to all registered participants and posted on the Family Weekend webpage.
• UH students receive complimentary admission to football games in the student section. Families wishing to sit together should purchase a football ticket for their student within the designated Family Weekend seating section.
• All registrations are final and non-refundable.

Children Ages 3 & Under

Children ages 3 and under receive complimentary admission to Family Weekend events included with registration. Please note that complimentary child registration does not include the official Family Weekend T-shirt, tote bag, or other registration merchandise.
